Lighting incentives
Rhode Island EnergyLighting retrofit
Standard lighting retrofit projects aimed at improving energy efficiency
Performance lighting retrofit
Retrofitting existing lighting systems with high-performance, energy-efficient lighting.
Variable speed drives incentives
Variable speed drives (VSDs) improve the efficiency of HVAC fans and pumps by adjusting speeds based on load. Even small speed reductions can yield significant energy savings. VSDs are ideal for HVAC applications and other uses like boiler draft fans and exhaust fans.
VSD retrofit
Retrofitting variable speed drives (VSD) to improve the efficiency of motor-driven systems
Motor and VSD retrofit
Projects that involve both motor replacements and the installation of variable speed drives
Contractor incentive
Contractors installing variable speed drives under the retrofit program
System optimization (ESPO) incentives
The Equipment & Systems Performance Optimization (ESPO) program helps commercial and industrial customers optimize equipment, systems, and building energy controls. Choose from three options to best fit your business needs and savings goals.
Low cost tuning measures
This cost-effective option is ideal for simple improvements under the ESPO program. Examples include tuning anti-sweat controls, cycling evaporator fans, and lowering condensing pressure.
Monitoring-based commissioning
Keep equipment and systems running efficiently with continuous monitoring and data analysis, ensuring optimal performance.
Targeted systems tuning
This custom approach option is best for businesses with multiple pieces of equipment in the same system. Examples include managing system airflow, recovering waste energy, and optimizing schedules and setpoints
