Customer Assistance Expos
Customer Assistance Expos are in-person events where customers can get information about payment plans and assistance programs. Rhode Island Energy employees and representatives from other agencies will be onsite to answer your questions and discuss support options.
What to bring to the Customer Assistance Expo
To enroll in one of our programs, bring a copy of your current year's confirmation letter from your benefits organization. Acceptable confirmation letters include:
- Supplemental Security Income/SSI
- Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program/SNAP
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program/LIHEAP
- Medicaid
- General Public Assistance
- Rhode Island Works Program
If you don’t have a confirmation letter, you can bring a qualification card from the Rhode Island Department of Human Services.
