New Pole Attachment Customers
Rhode Island EnergyObtaining an RIE pole attachment license
If you are a new customer within the Rhode Island Energy service territory and are looking to make attachments to RIE-owned facilities, you must have a License Agreement for the type of attachment you wish to install.
Obtaining a License Agreement
- Fill out a Pole Attachment License Agreement Request Form (pdf)
- Email the completed form to poleattachmentservices@rienergy.com
- RIE will verify your information and send a License Agreement for your signature
- Once both parties have signed and returned the agreement, RIE will issue a unique Licensee Code
- You may then submit new applications under the Licensee Code
For all proposed attachments on RIE poles that are jointly owned by Verizon New England, a separate signed license agreement must be entered into with Verizon New England.
