Electric Service Rates
This is our standard rate for the majority of our residential customers, as other rates require special conditions. Service is also available for church and farm customers.

Related Information
If you are a residential customer and meet the requirements then you may be eligible for a discount on your monthly electric bill.
- You are the head of the household or principal wage earner.
- You must be presently receiving Supplemental Security Income from the Social Security Administration, be eligible for the low-income home energy assistance program, or one of the following from appropriate Rhode Island agencies: Medicaid, Food Stamps, General Public Assistance, or Family Independence Program Assistance (formerly AFDC).
- The Customer’s total bill for service will be discounted by twenty-five (25) percent. Customers receiving benefits through the following programs will receive an additional discount of five (5) percent, totaling a total bill discount of thirty (30) percent: Medicaid, General Public Assistance, or Family Independence Program.
